Maria Lowenstein is a literacy instructional specialist that has been in education for the last 20 plus years. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in educational leadership K-12 from Florida Atlantic University She also has endorsements in reading, English as a second Language (ESOL) and Gifted Education along with her National Board Professional Teaching Standards Certificate (NBPTS) in middle childhood generalist. Maria has been a classroom teacher, a literacy coach, a curriculum writer, and a district literacy instructional specialist for one of the largest districts in the nation. She is currently a Senior Learning Designer at Learning A-Z (LAZ). She believes in making sure the solutions designed are equitable and accessible for all learners.
