Maria Bennett from Scott County Schools is a passionate advocate for re-thinking classroom instruction and integrating technology into education. As a former elementary classroom teacher and school principal, Maria brings a unique perspective to her work that includes classroom, leadership, and tech-implementation lenses for all ages. In the past four years, as Director of Technology, Maria has spearheaded the district's successful 1:1 Chromebook initiative. This experience fuels her desire to not only equip students with crucial tech skills but also empower them as responsible digital citizens in our fast-changing world. She recognizes the tremendous impact of AI on education and is committed to challenging fellow educators to rethink classroom instruction to prepare students for a future beyond the school walls.
