Peg obtained her doctorate in STEM leadership with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Programming. She spent her first twenty years teaching mathematics and programming around the world as she traveled with her military husband. She has experience with curriculum work from different parts of the country and in places such as Europe, the Orient, South, and Central America. She then began teaching with the Diocese of Orlando. She spent her first 13 years as the mathematics department head at the high school level and then became the Technology Director where she led in the conversion to a one-to-one system and helped develop curriculum to incorporate technology into each department. She then moved to the elementary level where she provided professional development to introduce innovative technology into the curriculum. Currently Peg is working at the college level and has presented on topics such as encryption using mathematics and AI.
Peg has traveled to Africa, Central, and South America to work with the incorporation of technology. This includes setting up satellites and instructing teachers on how to incorporate devices into the curriculum. Peg’s specialty is emerging technology to include 3D printing, coding, robotics, virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.
