Lauren Hill is an Assistant Professor at the Trent University School of Education. She is a researcher and educator with interests in critical pedagogy, STEAM education, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Her research explores using the creative process as a vehicle to support ecological and social justice in the public school system. Additionally, and prior to her academic career, Lauren was a professional French horn player, performing with a number of orchestras and chamber ensembles in Canada and New Zealand.
