Julie has dedicated the last 25 years of her career to educating high school students in reading and writing while incorporating new technology into student learning. With a BA in English, an MA in Educational Innovations, and as a current PhD student in Learning Technologies, her passion is helping students find a balance between the fundamentals of reading and writing while exploring new ways to incorporate technological advancements. Her time in the classroom, within our rapidly changing world, has afforded her the ability to recognize that in order to understand all individuals, we must remember to put people first by recognizing their diversity and their experiences.
