Joe currently serves as the Assistant Director of Community, Inclusion, and Equity at Gilman School in Baltimore, MD. Before returning to Gilman, he was the Assistant Principal at Brooke High School in Boston. Prior to that, he worked at KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School as Dean of Students and MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas as an English teacher. Joe began his career in education as a Teach for America Corps Member at Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, Texas. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Kenyon College and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Michigan. He is currently completing an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania.
