Founder and Executive Director,
Microcollective for AI, Robotics, and the Sciences (MARS)
United States
Jennifer Wolverton is an engineer, author, and the founder of MARS (Microcollective for AI, Robotics, and the Sciences), a bold hybrid microschool model that fuses emerging technology with hands-on, student-driven learning. Based in Alabama, Jennifer has built a future-ready education system where students use AI, VR, robotics, and coding alongside history, literature, and entrepreneurship. Her programs empower students to create—designing websites to tell the story of U.S. History, building AI avatars to tutor peers in biology, and leading showcases to teach emerging tech to their community. Jennifer is a national speaker on AI in education and a passionate advocate for personalized, tech-powered learning that works for all students, especially those who haven't thrived in traditional systems. Through her curriculum publishing, speaking events, and nonprofit leadership, she’s inspiring families and educators across the country to stop waiting for schools to change—and start building what comes next.
