Dr. Janette Camacho

Dr. Janette Camacho is an education consultant, author, and national speaker specializing in artificial intelligence, instructional technology, and STEM integration. With a background in K–12 leadership and curriculum design, she helps educators harness emerging technologies to create future-ready learning environments. Dr. Camacho has presented at leading conferences such as the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), ISTELive, and Wisconsin’s SLATE Conference. At FETC, she has served as a featured speaker and led sessions including “AI, Oh My!” and “AI in Elementary: Building Future-Ready Learners.” She has also co-presented with thought leader Matt Miller and hosted author meet-ups to discuss her published works. Her contributions at ISTELive have included live AI tool demonstrations in partnership with Samsung Education, as well as the development of a new AI curriculum for elementary classrooms. At the SLATE Conference, she was selected as the Opening Keynote speaker in both 2024 and 2025. Dr. Camacho’s publications include Unlocking the Power of OpenAI, Integrating Coding and Computational Thinking into the Curriculum, and The Tech-Savvy Educator’s Guide to Successful School Deployments.
