Hanna Shekhter is a passionate advocate for STEM education and the Director of STEM Innovation and Education at Brauser Maimonides Academy (BMA) in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. With over 18 years of experience, Hanna has successfully implemented a technology integration program that leverages digital tools and embedded professional development to achieve curricular objectives. She played a key role in launching and expanding an innovative STEM program at BMA, which includes a makerspace and a comprehensive STEM curriculum. Hanna has also implemented an extensive PreK-8 coding curriculum that uses robotics to teach computer science and critical thinking skills. She is STEM.org certified and a certified Google for Education Trainer. Hanna is dedicated to transforming her students into lifelong learners and finds great satisfaction in her work.
