Dr. Es Swihart

Es Swihart is an educator, self-worth researcher, and Jungian coach committed to creating educational systems that intentionally support whole-child development in environments designed for innovation, adaptability, and the complexity of today’s world. In over a decade and a half in education, Es has worked with students of all types, represented Sarasota County as their 2018 Teacher of the Year, served on the board of The Education Foundation of Sarasota County, and co-founded The Third Frame Collaborative, an education group that combines research on educational technology, Mind Brain Education, and pedagogy to help educators and leaders integrate brain science, STEM, and technology so they might reimagine instruction, foster student agency, and improve leadership outcomes. Es is currently the Dean of Academics for Middle and Upper School at The Out-of-Door Academy. She earned her doctorate in Education with a focus on Mind, Brain, and Teaching at Johns Hopkins University.
