Dr. Asia Lyons is the founder and lead designer at Lyons Educational Consulting (LEC) LLC, dedicated to fostering truly inclusive environments in collaboration with communities, organizations, and schools. With a background spanning K-12 education in the Denver Metro Area and as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado - Denver School of Education and Human Development, Dr. Lyons brings extensive practical and academic expertise to her work. She also serves as a school partner specialist, working with schools and non-profits to bridge access gaps for Black and other children of Color. Her doctoral studies in Leadership for Educational Equity focus on racism-related stress and racial battle fatigue among Black educators, reflecting her commitment to addressing critical issues. Dr. Lyons co-founded the Black Educator Wellness Cohort, offering free monthly wellness sessions in Denver. She has presented her insights at prestigious venues including SXSW EDU and Harvard Graduate School of Education, and co-hosts The Exit Interview: A Podcast for Black Educators. This podcast amplifies the experiences of former Black educators to inform educational stakeholders about retention challenges.
