Donna Williamson has diverse work experience in EdTech. From 1994 to 2019, she served as the Technology Director (CTO) at Mountain Brook Schools, leading a team responsible for managing operational and instructional technology resources. Donna served as a CoSN Board Member, Executive Board Member from 2013 to 2019, and CoSN AL Leaders Chairperson from 2010 to 2017. Mrs. Williamson co-chaired the CoSN conference from 2017-2019. She has worked on numerous district, state, and national technology plans and technology education curriculums. She is a familiar face at state and national conferences. She presents at national conferences such as ISTE, CoSN, and FETC and state conferences such as NYSCATE, TCEA, KySTE, and ALET, presenting on topics such as innovation, edtech leadership, communication and other soft skills in edtech, data analytics, and more and has been awarded both state and national awards. In 2019, Donna made a strategic shift in her career, transitioning to EdTech Thought Partner and Project Director for the CoSN Early Career K-12 CTO Academy designed for CTOs in the role for four years or less and aspiring CTOs. This transition showcases her adaptability and commitment to staying current in the ever-evolving field of education technology.
