Dr. Don Heberer has nearly 20 years experience in the Educational space as educator in K-12 and Higher Education, as well as a School Administrator and Educational Technology vendor. Currently, Dr. Heberer is the District Administrator for Instructional Technology at Comsewogue School District where he manages and develops educational technology initiatives in the school district. Dr. Heberer also supervises the district's Career Technical Education program, STEAM classes, Library Media Specialists, and all educational technology-related professional development. Dr. Heberer has also been an Adjunct Lecturer for over 14 years at Stony Brook University for both the School of Professional Development and the Technology and Society Department. In this role, he focuses on educating teachers on how to integrate technology into their existing curriculum in which he wrote and co-wrote over 18 unique graduate and undergraduate courses. At Stony Brook University, he serves as the Coordinator for the Teaching and Learning with Technology Advanced Graduate Certificate program. He is a former founder co-owner of two educational technology companies, iGame4 and IntegratEdTech PD. Dr. Heberer is also an ASSET Executive Board Past President and was the 2023 ASSET Conference Chair.
