Dr. Diallo Sessoms is an Associate Professor of Early and Elementary Education at Salisbury University, where he teaches educational technology for early and elementary education majors.He holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Sessoms is a dedicated educator and a passionate advocate for student success through technology, with his research focusing on innovative uses of technology in the classroom. He was recognized by AACTE in 2020 for best practices in the innovative use of technology. He launched a makerspace for his department in Fall 2022 and is currently researching the use of makerspaces in undergraduate education programs. He is also the author of "Technology in Education," a book that explores infusing technology into teaching and learning.
