David Hass supports teachers, administrators, and district staff by strategically leading initiatives that enhance teaching and learning through technology. He guides the 1:1 device program serving over 40,000 students, recently spearheading the rollout of AI for teachers and standardizing classroom technology—all aligned with the district’s Instructional Framework. His leadership blends deliberate planning with humor and genuine human connection, making training sessions engaging and memorable. He’s inspired by how technology can give every student a voice and empower teachers to hear from all learners. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, David draws on his background teaching high school robotics to bring technical expertise and educational passion to his work—always aiming to add a bit of magic (and a few jokes) to the learning experience.
