Christie is a seasoned teacher with twenty-three years of experience in education. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Thomas University where she teaches the Integration of Classroom Technology to teacher candidates. During her educational journey, Christie has received numerous accolades for her work including an HP Fellowship, GaETC Rising Star, Nearpod North Star Teacher of the Year, and Empower Teacher of the Year. As a firm believer in the importance of a professional learning network, Christie is a cofounding member of the EduGuardians. She has presented at numerous conferences as well as co-hosted Curicon 2023 and the Week of AI 2024. Christie is an enthusiastic supporter of edtech and believes in its potential to enhance learning experiences.
