Brandi Grant, a self-proclaimed “lit-librarianista,” is a dynamic middle school librarian in North Texas with over 24 years in education, including 15 as a school librarian. She is passionate about creating inclusive, future-ready library spaces that blend technology, literacy, and innovation to foster collaboration, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
As a mentor and leader, Brandi is committed to developing the next generation of library professionals. She currently serves as the Black Caucus Round Table Councilor and Co-Chair of the 2026 Texas Library Association Conference Planning Committee, and is an active panel moderator and presenter for literacy organizations.
A fierce advocate for every student’s freedom to read, Brandi champions equitable access to diverse resources and sees technology as a powerful tool to amplify voice, choice, and engagement. Her mission: to empower all learners to COLLABORATE, INNOVATE, and THRIVE in an ever-changing digital world.
