Mrs. Bonnie Wagner

Bonnie is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience in special education, dedicated to supporting diverse learners and championing inclusive practices. She has served as the BOCES Regional Area Summer School Principal for the past two years, reflecting her strong leadership and commitment to student success across varied learning needs. Bonnie is also a sought-after professional development facilitator, having led sessions on simulation-driven learning for dyslexia support, Co-Teaching, teacher/assistant collaboration, and integrating robotics into early childhood education. Her expertise extends to writing and monitoring IEPs, maximizing consultant teacher services, and delivering evidence-based strategies for fluency and progress tracking. A regular contributor to regional and statewide initiatives, Bonnie has presented at events including CA BOCES ISS Support Team Day, Curriculum Forum, and SUNY New Paltz collaborations. Bonnie also brings a trauma-informed lens to her work through training in the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention System for Schools.
