Dr. Ann K. Laber Anders serves as the Supervisor of Library Media Programs and Instructional Technology advocating for educational advancement in Washington County Public Schools, MD. As a district leader, she has successfully orchestrated transformative initiatives overseeing the expansive deployment of Chromebook Plus devices for staff, the creation of a comprehensive Library Media Curriculum, the integration of Digital Citizenship education from PreK-12 and the development of systemic guidelines for the implementation of generative AI. By facilitating the Digital Tool Review Committee, she collaborates across departments and with Information Technology teams to managed EdTech projects, ensuring equivalent access and alignment with overarching educational objectives. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor for thesis Research and Design and works at the Maryland state level developing and implementing Computer Science Education. Dr. Laber Anders is driven by her passion for educational excellence.
