Anabel Basualdo

Anabel Basualdo is passionate about making STEM education more inclusive and engaging for all students. As a Curriculum Support Specialist for the Instructional Technology Department at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, she leads district-wide initiatives in robotics, drones, and AI integration across K–12 classrooms. With a background in microbiology, anthropology, and data science, Anabel brings a unique interdisciplinary lens to her work. She has trained hundreds of educators, developed curriculum focused on emerging technologies, and supports equity-driven programs that expand access to hands-on STEM learning. Anabel has presented at local conferences and is committed to helping underrepresented students discover their voice and potential through technology.
