Amanda Driver is a seasoned educator and dedicated Literacy Coach whose career has spanned over two decades, beginning in 1997. Her extensive instructional background includes teaching primary grades (PreK through 2nd) and 3rd-grade English Language Arts.
A champion of the Science of Reading, Ms. Driver is a certified local LETRS Facilitator and holds a valuable Dyslexia Endorsement, skills she leverages in her current role as a Let''''s Read Georgia Literacy Coach for Northwest Georgia RESA. She is instrumental in strengthening foundational literacy instruction across multiple school districts. This role builds on her previous leadership experience as the Lead Instructional Support Specialist at Sharp Creek Elementary School.
Ms. Driver is a committed advocate for data-driven instruction, serving as a key member of the Carroll County Reading Dynamic Team and MTSS Team, focusing on the successful implementation of tiered support systems to ensure every student achieves literacy proficiency. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom, having previously served as a Curriculum Specialist and a Teaching Fellows Mentor through the University of West Georgia.
A recognized presenter in the education community, Ms. Driver has shared her expertise at national and regional conferences, including NAPDS in Las Vegas, Georgia STEM in Athens, and various RESA conferences. She was also honored with an invitation to present at the prestigious ISTE conference. Her dedication has been recognized locally with both the 24Strong and Trailblazer county awards.
Amanda Driver translates her passion for literacy into tangible results, providing educators with the practical, research-based strategies needed to cultivate lifelong readers. Mrs. Driver is married and has two daughters.
