Allison Godowns is an educational leader with more than a decade of experience driving large-scale academic, operational, and instructional initiatives. As an Elementary Assistant Principal at Georgia Cyber Academy, she leads schoolwide implementation efforts, ensuring alignment to organizational goals and state requirements while supporting the professional growth of a large team of educators.
Throughout her career, Allison has specialized in cross-functional collaboration—partnering with curriculum, data, and leadership teams to design and deliver districtwide professional learning, strengthen instructional practices, and improve student outcomes. Her previous roles include K–12 Science Curriculum Coordinator, K–5 ELA Instructional Coach, and Instructional Lead, where she managed curriculum rollouts, built data-driven improvement systems, and facilitated professional development that elevated instructional quality across departments.
She has presented at state and national conferences on leadership and instructional innovation, sharing practical frameworks that help educators enhance performance and scale meaningful improvement initiatives. Allison holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University, along with endorsements in coaching, ESOL, and science instruction.
