Mrs. Alex Porter

Alex Porter is a 7th grade science teacher at Roxboro Community School in Roxboro North Carolina. She is a graduate of Meredith College and holds degrees in Biology and Education. Alex loves to create cooperative learning possibilities for her students. She strongly believes that science should be hands-on and always strives to create learning opportunities that force her students to think critically, independently, and creatively. This she feels fosters an ongoing curiosity and love for science!
