Dr. Ajayi is dedicated to advancing computer science and technology education, particularly among underrepresented students. As a teacher, researcher, curriculum writer, and teaching assistant, she integrates data analytics models into marketing courses at Southern University, Baton Rouge. Dr. Ajayi was also the coordinator of the inaugural Berkeley Lab Director's Apprenticeship program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, developing a Python curriculum with a team of scientists aimed at integrating underrepresented students into STEM professions at the Laboratory. She holds a BSc. degree in computer science, an MS in Business Information Systems, and a Ph.D. in Science and Math Education with research on equity in computer science education. She currently works as a postdoctoral scholar/Research Project Manager with the ACCEYSS research group at Texas State University.
