Aditya Vishwanath is an education technology researcher and entrepreneur whose work explores how emerging media—such as artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR)—can amplify learning in diverse environments. He is the co-founder and CEO of Inspirit, where he builds AI and VR tools for STEM training, and co-founder of MakerGhat, a makerspace and incubator network reaching over 10,000 schools across India. Aditya is also a Visiting Research Scholar at Stanford University's Graduate School of Education. Aditya earned his Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences from Stanford and a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. He is a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, Schmidt Futures Fellow, Ashoka Fellow, SXSW EDU Award recipient, and has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Forbes Technology Council, MIT SOLVE, and Georgia Tech 40 Under 40. His work has been published and featured in Nature, The New York Times, and The Indian Express. Previously, he worked with the Google Education team to develop strategies for integrating low-cost virtual reality into classrooms worldwide.
