This interactive and informative session is intended for current teachers, coaches and instructional staff with ed tech skill sets who are interested in exploring the idea of becoming a school-based administrator. The session will review trends and causes leading school districts across the country to post increasing numbers of Assistant Principal vacancies, reasons for the lack of qualified applicants, the role of ed tech is being a successful in the role and 5 key leadership skills, including proficiency in education technologies, required to be a highly effective Assistant Principal in 2025 and beyond.
