School Leaders
How we use technology in schools is the most important educational discussion of our time. Do your technology practices match your philosophy and vision? Are you an innovative school? What do you want for all students? What are your expectations for staff use of technology? What evidence do you have that you are using technology successfully? Participants will reflect on their technology practices by sharing strengths and challenges within their school and collaborate with other leaders to walk away with strategies to strengthen their practices and outcomes. This session is intended for schools that are looking to create their shared "Why"around technology, build momentum for their use of instructional technology, and to focus on innovative teaching and learning practices. This session will be highly interactive with strategically placed movement and sharing activities. The goal of the activities is to model the interaction, learning styles, and activities that are successful with staff and students. There will be collaborative and creative activities that will be utilized to engage the audience, through reflection, writing, discussing and putting it all together in the end! Examples of graphic organizers, assessments, and templates will be shared.
