SOUTH 331D
Classroom Leaders
Creative assessment unlocks so much potential for supporting students in a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) focused Blended Learning Environment. Using Book Creator, I'll demonstrate how to harness the power of digital storytelling and multimedia projects to engage all learners, regardless of their abilities or learning preferences. Book Creator allows educators to design accessible and engaging learning experiences. In this session, participants will learn how to: Implement UDL Principles: Discover how to apply the principles of Universal Design for Learning to create inclusive and flexible learning opportunities that cater to the variability of all learners. Enhance Creativity and Expression: Explore ways to encourage students' creativity by enabling them to express their understanding through various multimedia formats, such as text, images, audio, and video. Foster Student Engagement: Understand how to increase student motivation and engagement by providing choices in how they demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Differentiate Instruction: Learn strategies for differentiating instruction to meet the varied needs of all students, using Book Creator's accessibility features to provide multiple means of representation.
