Get students designing in a 3D space and producing their designs by printing their designs. Learn how to get students as young as kindergarten creating in the Tinkercad workspace. Students can incorporate how to design a solution to problems during PBLs and print their solution. In this session, attendees will learn how to use Tinkercad with young designers in a timely and efficient way. Classroom set up in Tinkercad will be shown as well as ideas for even the smallest learner. Designing openly in a safe space will allow students to explore 3D designing and allow them to discover how the 3d world works. By the end of the presentation, attendees will leave with copies of lessons for K-3 in Tinkercad and how it relates to science standards, giving students hands on ownership in their design process.
