How Small/Rural Schools Innovate to Prepare Students forTheir Future

January 16, 2025
SOUTH 310B
District Leaders
Small and rural schools face unique challenges, but they also have advantages that can be leveraged to offer innovated instructional strategies and systems to enhance student achievement and success. This presentation will illustrate how such concepts as utilizing technology, both in the classroom and individual student access, embracing personalize learning, focused professional development, engaging community resources and stakeholders, collaboration with local colleges and national universities can provide high quality educational opportunities that rival larger schools. Embracing a commitment to ever-changing technology and continuous improvement, small/rural schools can provide excellence in education. Do not let the physical boundaries of your school or district, be the boundaries for your students future or your creativity and foresight. Please bring your concerns, issues, and vision for the future. Let’s build an action plan to address your specific needs and prepare students for success in the 21st century.
