Rolling Up Your Sleeves: Leading, Coaching, and Modeling What You Want to See
January 15, 2025
NORTH 210B
District Leaders
Every educator in an educational organization can serve as a leader and coach for others. You can demonstrate this through every interaction, and by rolling up your sleeves when you step into hallways and classrooms. This session is packed with purposeful storytelling, embedded research, and practical ideas that leaders and educators can implement immediately. Participants will learn that to see change, you must lead and model it. From creating purposeful professional learning experiences that intentionally embed digital tools for student engagement, to empowering educators to take charge of their professional growth, to modeling high-leverage literacy practices in classrooms, and using the observation process to coach teachers in real time, leaders will learn to navigate the complexities of learning and effectively guide and influence positive outcomes. This hands-on approach will empower participants to become catalysts for sustainable change within their educational ecosystems.
