January 15, 2025
NORTH 210A
Classroom Leaders
Want to assess your learners’ comprehension? Sometimes, a multiple-choice question isn't enough—you need to HEAR them. Want to amplify your students’ voices and develop important real-world skills? Give them a microphone! Join this session led by an experienced podcaster who has released more than a hundred episodes and been a guest on many others. First, we'll discuss micro-podcasting—leveraging the power of audio on a smaller scale. Then, we'll move on to practical ideas on how to record, edit, and share podcasts, and discover how they can be effectively integrated into your classroom to enhance learning and engagement. Finally, we'll cover how to scaffold and scale the implementation of audio-recording in the classroom, ensuring a smooth and effective integration that is at the right level for you and your students.
