This workshop will provide a focused overview of the recent E-rate program expansions, including cybersecurity, hotspot funding, and the current discussions around the new upcoming 5-year Category 2 budget starting in FY2026. Additionally, we will highlight SHLB's current advocacy initiatives. This workshop will also cover the critical impact that connectivity, both at school and home, has had on student outcomes. Participants will gain actionable insights to optimize their E-rate applications and understand the broader impact of these changes.
