Navigating the AI Revolution in Our Schools

January 15, 2025
NORTH 210D
School Leaders
This session seeks to demystify AI in Education, focusing on three core components—Ethics, Policy, and Instruction. These pillars do not stand alone; rather, they are interconnected aspects of a comprehensive approach to integrating AI in education. The Ethics component provides an exploration of moral principles within AI, underpinning our actions and decisions when using this technology. In the Policy section, we explore the essential regulations and guidelines that govern AI's use in education. Lastly, the Instruction component addresses the practical application of AI in the classroom to enhance teaching and learning experiences. By considering these components as a unified whole, we can create a more effective and fair education system where AI amplifies the potential of each learner, safeguards their data, and supports teachers in the classroom.
