Have you wondered how awesome a robotics program would be in your school? Do you want to encourage your students to Dream Big through arts integration and connecting with the world in which they live? Studies have proven that robotics can increase student engagement and mastery of all content standards. This session will provide detailed steps on how to start and sustain a robotics program in your school through First Lego League. We will explore the dynamics of First Lego League and how to implement them through a timeline of events that will lead to establishing a school competitive team, sparking interest while improving school culture throughout this experience. This presentation will show you how to start a pilot team in your school that evolves into school competitive teams, connecting to drone competitions, and other robotic programs and competition opportunities that will excite your students. You don't want to miss this hands-on experience!
