This workshop is crafted for school leaders, coaches, and teachers eager to foster innovative practices within their classrooms. This dynamic session will equip participants with strategies to teach and lead students in innovative approaches to various challenges. The workshop focuses on four key areas: Design Thinking (DT) Process: Begin with a hands-on activity that encourages attendees to reflect critically on opportunities for leading innovative techniques and technologies in their classrooms, clubs, and CTSOs. Personal Compendium Creation: Using insights from the DT process, participants will develop a personalized collection of resources to support ongoing innovation efforts long after the workshop concludes . Versatile Technology Training: Gain practical experience through hands-on training with innovative, free technologies for your students, boosting confidence to implement these tools in the classroom. ASU Resource Overview: Discover the wealth of free digital resources available from ASU, tailored to enhance innovation for schools and educators. This workshop aims to identify opportunities for innovation, create a comprehensive understanding of available resources, and offer impactful, hands-on training in technology and design thinking. Join us to gain real-world experience, actionable knowledge, and inspiration to empower your students with innovative techniques to tackle challenges within the classroom, their communities, and beyond.
