Data resiliency is top of mind for most enterprises today. Organizations of all sizes grapple with a double-edged sword of a problem that we have in our hands. On one hand enterprise data is significantly growing year over year. Statistics say that this is about 42.2% over an already large set of data that we are all having to manage, with this comes opportunity. We live in a world of AI where data mining and training the models with data can yield huge amounts of productivity gains, decision support and all the various use cases that we put AI through, but with it also comes some challenges. How do you now account for all this data explosion, the sizes of data growing, the different sources of data growing. How do we now protect all the data that we need to recover in the case of a disaster or a cyber-attack? Data resiliency has always been top of mind but with growing data sizes this becomes even more pertinent and a problem that infrastructure has to keep up with. As we collaborate excessively across the globe using applications like box or OneDrive as more hands touched the data there is increasing risk.
