Enrichment Above the Library’s Curriculum

In The School District of La Crosse, we recognizes the unique values, interests, and talents of each individual student. The District is committed to providing challenging opportunities for high-performing students to support their? personal potential while developing their responsibility to our ever-changing society. In an effort to save the librarians of the school district, in 2015 the role of the librarian was combined with the gifted and talented program. During this session we will showcase how we provide enrichment to our students above and beyond our library's curriculum through HPL. In addtion to book clubs,elementary librarians acoss the district offer STEAM activites, Coding, 3D printing, LEGOS, Osmos and even cribbage!
