In this session, we'll share a multi-tiered approach to build capacity for instructional technology coaching through evaluation/SMART goals, innovative programs to engage teachers, and partnerships at the state, district, and school levels: State Level We will discuss the importance of leveraging a statewide edtech organization that offers professional development, provides digital equity audits, learning pathways, and coaching to districts. This scalable model upskills coaches in promoting equitable technology integration. District Level We will discuss how to organize and build a Digital Learning Team composed of teachers who aspire to learn and grow. Presenters will share strategies on how to collaborate with district leadership to leverage the state evaluation process to build coaching capacity while supporting district initiatives. This will include discussions on how to foster collaboration between the coach, technology director, curriculum leaders, and principals. School Level We will discuss how principals and coaches set SMART goals for teacher coaching, modeling lessons, and school-based professional development. Presenters will showcase real examples from their own coaching that highlight how teachers have developed SMART goals around technology integration and digital literacy standards implementation, all within the structured framework of a coaching cycle.
