Data Analysis for Promoting Digital Citizenship, Wellness, and DEI Initiatives

January 14, 2025
SOUTH 330B
School Leaders
In the wake of the pandemic, administrators grapple with increased numbers of mental health crises, community discord, and navigating the new digital world. To address these high-level challenges, administrators must create new strategic goals and plans. Data and analysis provide a concrete foundation for every level of the strategic planning and implementation process to effect positive change. We will present three data projects informing major strategic efforts for wellness, digital citizenship, and DEI at our institution. One project addressed high levels of faculty and student burnout by creating a sustainable culture of well-being. Another project informed how the school addresses polarized perspectives on social issues and structures safe spaces for courageous conversations. The last project addressed how data can guide strategies that help families find balance in the screen-age. Administrators will apply the ideas to their own goals and leave the session having brainstormed projects they can implement right away!
