In today's world, where online threats are ever-present and technology is deeply integrated into our lives, cybersecurity education is more crucial than ever. Join us for an in-depth professional development workshop designed specifically for 9th to 12th grade teachers. This session will showcase CYBER.ORG’s cutting-edge Cybersecurity Resources and the CYBER.ORG Virtual Range, offering a comprehensive toolkit to teach engaging and practical lessons on cybersecurity.
Whether you're a novice or advanced, you'll benefit from live demonstrations of various cyberattacks by curricula specialists, which you will then replicate in your own virtual machines within the CYBER.ORG Range. You will engage in three immersive labs—Credential Harvesting, Metadata Analysis, and Ransomware Attacks and experience how these labs can be used to support learning about social engineering, hidden information in files, and the threats of malware. Additionally, you'll participate in a cyber scenario designed to promote cyber awareness as you work in a team using evidence from briefing folders to discover motivations and responsibility for the cyber attack. Participants will receive free access to the cyber range for use on their laptops/Chromebooks during the workshop ensuring a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. * BYOD. Participation is included in the SESSIONS ACCESS Conference Registration.
