Creating and Using Formative Assessments in Nearpod

We all know that frequent formative assessment and adjustment of your lesson plans are essential to good student learning. But who has time to grade quizzes and exit tickets every class? Introducing Nearpod Activities, a quick and engaging way to assess your students in real-time so that you can adjust your planning to meet their needs. Nearpod is an online presentation and assessment tool. It works across all platforms as an app or website, so that any school can easily integrate it into their 1:1 or BYOD setting. By the end of the session, participants will be able to create Nearpod Activities to assess their students in a variety of student-centered, engaging ways. Participants will be able to find and understand Nearpod Presentation Reports in order to gather information useful for planning future lessons.
