In this engaging conference session, we will explore how to empower K-12 educators to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of computer science education. As technology continues to shape our world, it is crucial that educators have the tools and knowledge to guide their students toward a future where computational thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. We’ll delve into the various stages of the computer science pipeline, from early exposure to coding concepts in elementary school to advanced programming courses in high school. Participants will gain insights into how to implement aspects of the CS Integration model. We’ll discuss strategies for equipping teachers with the skills needed to effectively teach computer science, regardless of their background or prior experience
