Table 25 - Bringing Wearable Technology to Life in the Elementary Classroom
January 14, 2025
SOUTH 320GH
Keynote or Mega Session
Come explore wearable technology! Code cube is a programmable device students can wear. Students can program the 64-pixel LED screen using block-based programming to create unique images, animations, and patterns. This device comes with a built-in accelerometer and sound output which students can use to design programs that play or change sounds as they change position on their LED screens. This is true coding experience not based around a robot. Resources will be shared for teachers incorporating this into their classrooms and preparing student lessons and learning activities.
