This session will explore emerging trends for creating effective instructional video using AI-generated content. Research-supported strategies will be demonstrated live to showcase all-digital workflows for developing video and audio assets without using traditional production equipment (cameras, microphones, lights…etc). Participants will learn semantic hacks to optimize AI prompt engineering, management techniques for curating AI content, as well as editing techniques to automate common tasks using new AI assisted timeline tools. The session will culminate with a deepfake challenge to identify the “real” talking head doppelganger and conclude with a discussion of copyright laws, ethical issues, and learner performance.
