Challenge, motivate and empower students by incorporating BreakoutEDU into your curriculum. Whether it’s a simple “Lock of the Day” puzzle, a collaborative hands-on Breakout challenge, or having students create their own digital BreakoutEDU puzzles, BreakoutEDU caters to the 4 Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) and fosters SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) connections through standards-aligned, learner-centered experiences. It’s classroom gamification at its finest. Instead of merely recalling facts, students are instantly engaged and encouraged to think outside of the box and use their critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity skills to succeed. And when they create their own challenges, they jump up even further on the Bloom’s Taxonomy scale. BreakoutEDU is adaptable across all subjects and grade bands. In this highly interactive session, we will experience the BreakoutEDU process and learn how to use it in the classroom to provide engaging learning experiences for all. We will explore integration strategies that create engaging learning experiences that will positively impact student learning outcomes.
