Learn how to implement a fully mobile zSpace Immersive Playground (ZIP) in your school district. A zSpace is a laptop that allows students to interact with 3D educational content without the use of 3D glasses. With the help of their instructional coach, maintenance department, and high school building and construction students, Talladega County School transformed a retired school bus into a unique learning environment. Students played an integral role in the process, removing the bus’ interior, offering design input, and installing flooring and shelves. Having such hands-on involvement in the building of the playground instilled a sense of ownership in the students. More than just a tech upgrade, ZIP is a unique investment in equitable education. It expands access, cultivates a culture of computational thinking, and challenges the conventional classroom experience. Get a firsthand look at how ZIP has enhanced instruction, supported differentiation, and provided invaluable opportunities to students across the district. You’ll walk away with a start-to-finish guide to bring a similar initiative to your own district.
