Poster 12: STEM Starts with Leadership: Developing Vision and Capacity

STEM doesn’t start with a box, it begins with a vision. In this interactive workshop, school and district leaders will explore how to build a strong foundation for STEM by creating a clear, strategic plan. Participants will begin drafting a vision for STEM learning and identify system-level needs for successful integration. This session also introduces the STEM Coordinator Certification program, which supports leaders in assessing STEM practices, designing targeted professional learning, and building sustainable professional learning communities that support STEM across grade levels.
