As education evolves, AI and game-based learning are transforming student engagement and critical thinking. This session equips K-12 educators with actionable strategies to integrate AI, design thinking, and game design into their teaching, fostering creativity and deeper learning experiences. Participants will explore AI concepts and step-by-step approaches for incorporating design thinking into game-based assignments. Through real-time experience, attendees will engage in a rapid five-phase design process — Explore, Empathize, Experiment, Execute, and Evolve — linking problem-solving skills to content learning in authentic ways. Additionally, the session will address ethical considerations in AI implementation, including responsible use and data privacy. Educators will also learn how AI-powered game design aligns with ISTE Standards and 21st-century learning skills, helping students prepare for the future. Join us for this thought-provoking session where cutting-edge technology meets effective pedagogy, offering educators a roadmap to revolutionize their classrooms through AI-informed game design.
