Classroom Leaders
Inspired by shows like Battlebots, combat robotics offers a dynamic platform for robotics enthusiasts. This session will guide participants on establishing a 3D-printed antweight combat robotics program at their institution, creating opportunities for students to engage in research, strategy, design-thinking, computer-aided design (CAD), soldering, and collaborative learning skills. Three learning objectives 1. Participants will be able to outline the foundational steps and a realistic timeline for establishing a 3D-printed antweight combat robotics program at their institution. 2. Participants will be able to identify and apply best practices for the safe design, construction, and deployment of combat robots. 3. Participants will be able to identify and locate the necessary resources, including experiences with Fusion, tools, materials, and guidelines, required to support a new combat robotics program.
